Two teachers from Politeknika Txorierri Ikastegia have recently recorded an expedition to Aconcagua using 3D technology.

The expedition which took place in Juanuary, was led by the well known mountaineer Juanito Oiarzabal.  For three weeks all the details of the expedition were recorded using a stereoscopic camera to test the 3D technology in a real situation.The Aconcagua was chosen because of the love of the mountain that both teachers share and with the intention to make a documentary as spectacular as possible.

The resulting 3D video was edited by themselves and it is now possible to see this first edition, although the final version with all the 3D effects will be distributed later among the people who wish to view it.
